Improving energy performance

At Innovative City 2014, the CSTB is also organizing a workshop on improving energy efficiency at science and technology parks. With Colin Ruel, Europe and International project leader at Sophia Antipolis Foundation, Dominique Caccavelli, head of the Renewable Energy Division at the CSTB, invites you to discover and share ideas about an innovative approach to this challenge.

With examples from the European project Smart-MED-Parks, the workshop presents the “Intelligent Model of Energy Management,” designed to provide practical solutions for achieving energy efficiency and self-sufficiency by generating energy locally and integrating it into existing power grids. This model was tested in five science and technology parks in Europe, including Sophia Antipolis. The conference is also an opportunity to present innovative energy solutions developed by local start-ups based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
