ACERMI guides the creation of specifications for certified insulation materials
The ACERMI (Association for the Certification of Insulating Materials) is launching its new specification service for selecting insulation materials based on usage. You want to determine the thickness of finished walls to calculate the net floor area, or describe insulation materials in the project design phase and validate the choice based on usage, or find information on energy efficiency certificates, or check the insurability of structures, and more: the new ACERMI search engine will help you find answers.
As part of the renewal of its 837 certificates, ACERMI offers manufacturers the possibility of adding appendices on product uses. Now, when a user searches for a product to insulate a loft, wall or floor, insulation materials for each specific use appear in the search. This online service is available free of charge for specifiers, alongside the search criteria by thermal performance, type of material or manufacturer.
