First TREMPLIN certificates for windows
The first TREMPLIN (A), or “Springboard,” certificate was issued by the CSTB in May 2017 to a window manufacturer. Twenty more will be added by the end of 2018. The CSTB offers the TREMPLIN service to very small enterprises and companies that are in the process of changing their product ranges, assisting them step-by-step through the certification process, in this case, NF 220 certification for windows. Specifically, the CSTB assesses the quality procedures implemented in the company, upstream of product certification. The benefit to manufacturers is to have a diagnosis of its industrial organization to better prepare for certification requirements. With TREMPLIN certificates from the CSTB, they also show their customers their commitment to quality.
