Better urban management with a collaborative platform

The Integrated and Replicable Solutions for Co-Creation in Sustainable Cities (IRIS) project, supported by the European Union (H2020), is testing innovative technology solutions and new business models for improved city management. Launched in October 2017 for five years, it promotes a comprehensive and collaborative approach using a platform of online services to reduce the energy and environmental impact in cities, and brings together users, system operators and city, building and transport professionals. The CSTB contributes to structuring and managing data from the urban platform, applied across the Nice Côte d'Azur urban area, one of the first in Europe to deploy this solution. It is also involved in demonstrator projects to improve the energy performance of buildings.
