Spotlight on superinsulation at IVIS 2017
Held on September 20 and 21, 2017, the 13th International Vacuum Insulation Symposium (IVIS), was dedicated to “superinsulation” materials such as vacuum insulation panels (VIP) and nanoporous materials such as aerogels. This colloquium, organized in Paris by the CSTB, enabled experts from around the world to share the latest advances in these innovative materials for the building industry and other industrial sectors. Although the participants were mainly specialists in these insulation materials, the symposium also attracted professionals from the automotive and household appliance industries.
