The CSTB supporting the “Big BIM Competition 2016”
Provide guidance to architects and architecture students in using the building information modeling (BIM) approach when taking on construction and development projects: that’s the objective of the BIM Competition 2016. Initiated by Polantis architects with the city of Bobigny, the competition is sponsored by the CSTB. It differs from traditional architecture competitions in that it uses the IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) open format for digital modeling and an information database, which guarantees good application of the BIM method.
