RE2020: the CSTB takes the floor at the Coriolis Seminars for Environment watch live

On January 13, 2022, at 6 pm, meet Sylvie Ravalet, Deputy CEO of the CSTB, and Alexandra Lebert, Head of the “Buildings and Cities Facing Climate Change” Strategic Research Action, as they talk about the challenges and opportunities of RE2020, the new French environmental regulations, for new buildings.

RE2020 took effect on January 1, 2022, for the construction of residential buildings and will become effective for office buildings and elementary and secondary schools on July 1, 2022. It is the first construction regulation to include carbon requirements and two aspects of climate change: mitigation and adaptation. This scientific conference will take place in English and is intended for a broad audience. After a 45-minute talk, there will be time for discussion.

Created in 2008 at École Polytechnique, the Coriolis Institute supports basic and applied research and advanced technological development concerning environmental topics. Its “Energy: Research and Innovation” conference cycle is organized in partnership with the interdisciplinary Energy4Climate Center (E4C) (Institut Polytechnique de Paris) and the NEXT student association.
