IBPSA France conference: simulation, from the neighborhood to the city

The French-speaking conference of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBSPA) invites construction experts on May 23 and 24, 2016, to its event. Researchers and engineers specializing in physical modeling will discuss calculation and simulation methods supporting building performance, with respect to energy, the environment and comfort. Organized with the support of the CSTB and Efficacity, the IBPSA France 2016 conference will broaden its scope to examine simulation at the scale of a neighborhood and a city.

In connection with the performance goals for sustainable construction and cities through energy transition, the IBSPA France 2016 conference will address the following topics:

  • Energy of buildings and systems
  • Comfort of ambient conditions (thermal, acoustic and visual comfort and air quality)
  • Designing buildings, districts, cities and local areas with high energy and environmental efficiency
  • Energy Performance Guarantee

The conference will take place on May 23 and 24, 2016 in Champs-sur-Marne (Paris region) in the Bienvenüe building, 14-20 Boulevard Newton.
