EnergySemi-virtual laboratory

Unique in France, this new-generation laboratory assesses a building's energy systems and optimizes the way they perform.

The real product is tested in a virtual environment that mimics the behavior of a building and its facilities, which are subjected to occupant usage and the climate.

This approach makes it possible to quickly characterize, demonstrate and improve the energy and environmental performance of innovative products in service. Their integration potential in the building is also checked.

Located in Sophia Antipolis, this laboratory tests systems using water, air or electricity or combining all three (rated output: 2 to 20 kW). It is adapted to equipment that produces energy (heat pumps, combined heat and power systems), stores energy (solar), or consumes energy (controlled mechanical ventilation).
