2_nd International Conference on Fire Safety of Facades

Innovative construction systems, an increasing use of combustible materials on facades, more proximity between buildings and stricter energy requirements: the transformation of facades due to these changes raises challenges for fire safety which must be studied.

To advance knowledge and promote innovation, the CSTB, with its Swedish research counterpart SP, organized the ^nd International Conference on Fire Safety of Facades.

This scientific meeting brought together experts from around the world from May 11 to 13, 2016, in Lund, Sweden. The topics included fire safety engineering; regulations; testing methods; facade systems; and products and materials.
