National conference on lead and lead poisoning

Lead and lead poisoning

January 29, 2015, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Ministry of Health, 14 Avenue Duquesne, 75007 Paris

Exposure to lead remains a public health problem.
In 2009, the InVS (French Institute for Public Health Surveillance) estimated that 4,400 children between ages 1 and 6 had lead poisoning in mainland France. In addition, the effects of low-dose exposure have been shown in recent years.

Now that the Saturn’Inf, Saturnin and Plomb-Habitat projects have ended, the purpose of the conference is to present and put into perspective their research results then share the methods of operational implementation of what was learned with stakeholders involved in lead exposure control policy.

Free conference, open to all, space permitting.

This conference is co-organized by the Ministry of Health, the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB), the EHESP School of Public Health and the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS).
