Carole Le Gall, CSTB Managing Director, elected co-president of SB Alliance

SB Alliance was created in April 2008 as an international association composed of certification bodies, research bodies, universities and stakeholders involved in assessment of the environmental quality of buildings.  In particular, one of SB Alliance’s ambitions is to harmonise measurement indicators and methods used internationally with a view towards an assessment of the environmental quality of buildings and regions.  In 2009, the association defined six common environmental performance indicators.  The sustainable building initiative of the United Nations program for the environment selected the carbon indicator that was presented to the COP15 in Copenhagen.
