Climate change and the built environment: a CSTB coordinator at the International Building Council

Jean-Luc Salagnac

Remember that the CIB was created in 1953 with the support of the UNO.  The association, which has its head office in the Netherlands, was set up to stimulate international cooperation and exchanges between its members, research institutes and private building institutions, so as to help the construction sector make progress in this research.  The CIB now employs more than 5 000 experts from about 500 international organizations.
